Pat Blakesley is the dedicated leader of Accelerate. A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s in political science, Pat launched his career by founding a business in the risk mitigation field. He successfully grew the company to operate across four states with over 60 employees. Driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and the “whys” behind those behaviors, Pat sold the business to establish The Blakesley Group. There, he and his team developed a human performance development program that helped struggling corporations rebuild their personnel and business models by leveraging human capabilities and the behaviors tied to them. This journey of innovation and growth ultimately shaped the foundation of Accelerate.

Pat holds a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Psychology. His dissertation focuses on coaching and developing high-performing virtual teams. Through this work, Pat aims to equip corporations with the tools and strategies needed to foster engaged, high-performing teams in the workplace.

Pat is a proud father of four and is married to Laura, who is also pursuing her PhD in Education. In his free time, Pat enjoys restoring cars and building engines, combining his love for craftsmanship with his drive for continuous improvement.
